Charlotte Freud, granddaughter of media mogul Rupert Murdoch, has continued to turn heads with her striking transformation over the past year. On Sunday, the 24-year-old shared a selfie on Instagram Stories, showcasing her slim figure in a bold, red crop top.
The revealing outfit featured underboob and exposed her toned stomach, paired with tight leggings that completed the sporty yet chic look. Charlotte’s glamorous makeup, including a dark nude lip, complemented her new hairstyle—a sleek black bob. She also accessorized with oversized hoop earrings and a pair of sunglasses perched atop her head. Her tattoos, including intricate designs on her arms and vintage-style lettering on her midriff, were also visible.
In her Instagram post, Charlotte mentioned that she was staying at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Hollywood, a well-known spot in the city.
Earlier this year, Charlotte surprised fans with another public appearance that highlighted her transformation. In October, she attended The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular in London, where she made a dramatic entrance in a sheer dress that revealed a lot of skin. Underneath, she wore a plunging black bodysuit with feathered sleeve trim. Her auburn bob was styled in soft waves, and she finished the look with winged eyeliner and red lipstick.
Charlotte was accompanied by her father, PR expert Matthew Freud. The pair attended the event together, marking Charlotte’s debut in the world of musical theater. “I’ve been working as one of the writers and Creative Associate on this show,” Charlotte shared with Daily Mail Australia. “This was my debut in musical theatre, and dad was actually my plus one for a change!”
Charlotte first revealed her dramatic transformation last year, showing off a new look with a more defined jawline and plumper lips. She had also swapped her grunge-inspired black-and-white dyed hair with long extensions for a more polished blunt bob with bangs.
Despite her dramatic change, Charlotte’s edgy fashion sense remains a key part of her style.
Charlotte comes from a prestigious family. She is the great-great-granddaughter of Sigmund Freud, the neurologist renowned for founding psychoanalysis. As one of Rupert Murdoch’s 13 grandchildren, Charlotte is part of a lineage that includes some of the world’s most influential figures. Murdoch, the owner of News Corp, has an estimated net worth of $31 billion AUD ($20.9 billion USD).
In 2022, Charlotte married rapper Luke Storey in a private ceremony in The Cotswolds, a scenic area in central-southwest England. Dressed in a plunging white gown and edgy platform shoes, Charlotte arrived in a Bentley driven by her father. After the ceremony, guests were escorted to a lavish reception at Elisabeth Murdoch’s estate nearby.
The couple, however, separated after just 14 months, finalizing their divorce in September 2023.
