Shaughna Philips, a former Love Island contestant, has shared her impressive weight loss journey with fans on Instagram. In a detailed caption, Shaughna revealed the key factor she credits for her transformation.
The reality star posted a photo of herself in a bright pink bikini, showcasing her weight loss, which took more than a year to achieve. She explained that it wasn’t a quick fix, stating, “NO-zempic here, guys! Just an amazing eating and exercise plan.” Shaughna lost over 5 and a half stone, and emphasized that she didn’t do it alone. “It wasn’t easy, but I had great help,” she added.
Shaughna clarified that her weight loss wasn’t due to any injections or pills, addressing the common misconception that weight loss can only be achieved through such methods. It’s sad that you can’t lose weight naturally now without people suggesting that,” she said. “I would never judge anyone who uses them, but this is just how I’ve chosen to do it.”
For Shaughna, the turning point in her journey was a new nutrition plan. She explained that she now eats more frequently throughout the day, whereas she previously went long stretches without eating and ended up overeating at night. She also changed her approach to exercise, focusing on short, 12-minute workouts rather than long, intense sessions. “I used to think that an hour-long workout would fix my eating habits, but now I just focus on shorter, more manageable workouts,” she said.
Shaughna also revealed that she has compiled her weight loss tips and advice into a plan, which her fans can purchase.
Although her relationship status is currently unknown, rumors are circulating that Shaughna may be single. Some fans speculate that her weight loss could be linked to her potential appearance on Love Island: All Stars. The upcoming season, which features former contestants returning for another shot at love, is set to air on January 13. Shaughna was previously a contestant on the sixth series of Love Island, where she was dumped after her partner, Callum Jones, returned from Casa Amor with Molly Smith.
