Actor Ram Kapoor recently stunned the internet with his impressive 55 kg weight loss transformation. The star of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain has been open about his fitness journey, but rumors quickly circulated suggesting that his dramatic change was due to Ozempic, a popular weight-loss drug, or even surgery. In a new video shared on Instagram, Kapoor addressed these allegations head-on.
“Do you believe me now?” Kapoor captioned the video, where he directly addressed his followers. He began by acknowledging the viral news of his transformation and explained that many people had been asking whether he had used Ozempic or undergone surgery to shed the weight.
Kapoor clarified, “First of all, there’s nothing wrong if I did [use Ozempic or have surgery], but in less than 30 seconds, I’m going to prove I didn’t.” He then flexed his muscles and showed off his biceps, emphasizing that his transformation was the result of hard work, not shortcuts. “This kind of transformation requires hard work and long hours,” he said. “No shortcuts, no surgery, no Ozempic. That only does weight loss, not this.”
The actor also shared his future fitness plans, promising his followers that within four to six months, he would be working towards a solid six-pack. “That has to be done the hard way. Get it!” he added. Kapoor concluded by wishing well to those who had used Ozempic or had surgery, saying, “Good for y’all.”
In a recent interview with Cyrus Broacha, Kapoor opened up about how he managed to lose 55 kg after struggling with obesity for 20 years. “I was a 140 kg morbidly obese man,” he recalled. “Twice I lost 30 kilos, and twice it came back. This time, I have lost 55 kilos, and I’ve achieved a great level of health because I’ve learned that any diet is temporary.” He explained that the key to lasting weight loss is a mindset shift, rather than temporary dieting. Kapoor encouraged others to think like a healthy person to achieve their own weight loss goals.
