On Monday, she posted a video on Instagram of an exercise she calls the “impossible sit-up,” challenging her followers to test their core strength. In her post, she wrote, “Abs-olutely worth it! You are given a challenge. PS: Only try if your core is strong.”
Shilpa wisely advises her fans to approach this challenge with caution. If you’re not used to performing sit-ups regularly, it’s best to start slowly. Begin with a small number of sit-ups and increase the reps as your strength and endurance grow before attempting the “impossible sit-up.”
The “impossible sit-up” requires exceptional core strength, flexibility, and control. To complete the challenge, you need to keep your heel firmly planted on the floor while performing the sit-up. Throughout the movement, ensure your heel stays in contact with the ground. Maintain a straight back, hands at your sides, and engage your core as you lift your torso from a lying down position to a seated one. It’s important to execute the sit-up with control—avoiding any jerky or bouncy motions.
