YouTuber Nikocado Avocado Reveals Surgery Results After Weight Loss

Nikocado Avocado, the YouTuber known for his dramatic 250-pound weight loss last year, has surprised his followers once again with a new body transformation.

On Wednesday, Nicholas Perry, the creator behind the popular YouTube channel, revealed that he underwent multiple surgeries to remove at least 10 pounds of excess skin. This skin resulted from his significant weight loss journey.

In recent months, Perry, who is known for his “mukbang” videos where he eats large amounts of food on camera, has cut back on creating daily content. He explained that, after losing the weight, he struggled with loose skin, which he hid by adjusting his body position, clothing, and lighting. Despite this, he admitted the skin remained a major issue, affecting his abdomen, arms, legs, torso, back, and even his neck.

“I’ve never addressed it before,” Perry told NBC News before releasing his surgery video. “I ignored all the comments and questions about it.”

His video, “Two Steps Ahead,” which was released last September, became one of his most popular uploads, reaching over 50 million views. However, it also brought about intense scrutiny from viewers, questioning whether he had plastic surgery, undergone gastric bypass, or used weight loss drugs like Ozempic.

On Wednesday, Perry revealed he had undergone a series of invasive body lift procedures in private. During his recovery, he was forced to sleep at a 45-degree angle with his limbs propped up on a “mountain of pillows.” While the procedures removed the excess skin, Perry described the experience as feeling like “being sawed in half, spun around, and peeled open like an orange.”

These skin-tightening surgeries, which have grown in popularity due to medications like Ozempic, are high-risk and require a long recovery time, according to Perry’s plastic surgeon, Dr. Timothy Katzen. After a body lift, patients typically need to limit their movement for weeks, which may require taking two weeks to a month off work, depending on their job’s physical demands.

For Perry, the surgeries marked the final chapter of his weight loss journey, which had captivated millions of online viewers. Despite his long-standing fear of medical procedures, he hopes his openness will encourage others in similar situations to face their own fears.

“It’s a crazy thing having followers,” Perry shared. “I feel like a normal person just doing silly stuff. But at the end of the day, these are real people who have an infatuation with me for whatever reason. In a way, this shows that I’m not special just because I have followers. Like everyone else, I have loose skin that was unavoidable, and I still have insecurities.”

In terms of his personal brand, Perry explained that to maintain his weight loss, he now only posts mukbang videos a few times a month, compared to the past when he would often upload massive eating sessions once or twice daily.

“I don’t think I’ll ever go back to eating that type of food and that quantity of food frequently,” he added.
