Chelsea Blackwell is committed to her new health routine and is seeing positive results.
The Love Is Blind alum recently revealed that she has used a GLP-1 injectable weight loss medication to help her lose 30 pounds. However, she’s not stopping there.
“It works for some people and doesn’t for others, so it was really a 50/50 chance for me,” Chelsea, 32, told E! News in an exclusive interview. “I started using it around the end of November or December, and I’m not stopping. I feel the best I’ve ever felt.”
The reality star has since lost an additional 10 pounds and says she is benefiting from her new lifestyle, which also includes working with a nutrition coach.
“My sleep is better, my skin looks better, and I have more energy,” Chelsea shared. “Overall, everything in my life is just so much better.”
Chelsea, who is now dating Tim Teeter after ending her engagement to Jimmy Presnell, also addressed the criticism she’s faced over using the weight loss medication.
“It’s interesting sharing this online because people are really upset. I knew they would be,” she said. “If you like the color pink or say the sky is blue, someone is always going to have an opinion.”
Despite the backlash, Chelsea has also received a lot of support, which has motivated her to keep sharing her journey.
“I’ve had so many women reach out saying, ‘Me too. This is what worked for me. Maybe you could try this,’” she explained. “And I did the same, sharing what worked for me. It was so cool to connect with other women and feel that same energy. It’s been really awesome.”
