GOfit, a leading fitness club operator in Spain, has expanded into the Italian market with the opening of its first club in Turin. This marks the beginning of a broader plan to establish new gyms in Milan, Bologna, and other cities across Italy.
Building on its success in Spain, where GOfit has utilized the Technogym Ecosystem, the company has entered into an exclusive partnership with the Italian fitness equipment giant Technogym for its operations in Italy. As part of this agreement, Technogym will provide a comprehensive fitness experience for all GOfit centers. This includes Technogym Checkup, an AI-powered station that uses advanced technology to assess physical and cognitive health. The system offers a “Wellness Age” metric and customized training plans to optimize performance, according to a company statement.
Mario Barbosa, CEO of GOfit, emphasized the strategic importance of Italy, noting the country’s growing focus on health and wellness. “Our goal is to offer a complete fitness experience built on a scientific approach and innovative programs,” he said. “Working with Technogym ensures the highest quality, design, and innovation in our centers.”

GOfit’s first Italian gym is set to open in Turin by the end of summer 2025, in the newly renovated Flower Market building.
