At 56, actress Jennifer Aniston continues to prioritize fitness, sharing her top tips for staying in shape. In a recent interview with Prevention, she emphasized the importance of staying active for both physical and mental well-being.

“I feel awful if I don’t work out,” Aniston admitted. “When I skip my routine, whether it’s physical or mental, I can really notice the difference. Even just 10 to 20 minutes of exercise can make a huge impact.”

Aniston’s focus is on strength training, which she believes is crucial as she ages. “As we get older, our muscle mass decreases, so strength training becomes really important,” she explained. “I want to feel strong and healthy.”

Aniston, known for her love of low-weight, high-rep exercises, has also incorporated higher weights into her regimen. She emphasized the importance of building muscles to support bones and joints, particularly as we age.

The actress is also a fan of variety in her workouts. “I’ve never done the same workout twice, and that’s one of the things I love about it,” she said. “It keeps me engaged and challenged.”

Aniston works out three to five times a week, finding a balanced approach to fitness. “We’ve had a great relationship so far,” she said of her body. “I’ve pushed it too far at times, but now I focus on a more balanced routine.”
